Fertility Evaluation (Male & Female)

At Jeevan Sparsh Hospital & Imaging Centre, we believe that the first step toward successful fertility treatment is an accurate and thorough evaluation. Fertility issues can affect both men and women, and a detailed assessment is essential to identify the root cause and determine the most appropriate treatment path—whether natural conception, IUI, or IVF. Our fertility evaluation process is discreet, supportive, and medically advanced—ensuring that couples feel understood, empowered, and guided every step of the way.

Male Fertility Evaluation

Male infertility contributes to nearly 40% of all infertility cases. Our diagnostic approach includes:

Detailed Medical & Sexual History

Assessing lifestyle factors, past illnesses, infections, surgeries, or medications that may affect sperm quality.

Physical Examination

To detect any visible or palpable abnormalities (varicocele, undescended testes, etc.).

Semen Analysis

A basic but crucial test to evaluate sperm count, motility (movement), and morphology (shape). Multiple samples may be recommended.

Hormonal Testing

Blood tests to assess hormone levels such as FSH, LH, Testosterone, and Prolactin.

Ultrasound (Scrotal or Transrectal)

To evaluate structural issues, such as blockages or varicocele.

Genetic Testing

In cases of severely low sperm count or azoospermia (no sperm), to rule out chromosomal abnormalities.

Female Fertility Evaluation

Female fertility depends on ovulation, healthy reproductive organs, and hormone balance. Our comprehensive evaluation includes:

Detailed Menstrual and Medical History

Understanding cycle regularity, hormonal symptoms, past pregnancies, miscarriages, or gynecological surgeries.

Hormonal Blood Tests

Tests like AMH, FSH, LH, TSH, Prolactin, and Estradiol help evaluate ovarian reserve and hormonal balance.

Pelvic Ultrasound / Transvaginal Scan

To assess the uterus, ovaries, and endometrial lining. It helps detect cysts, fibroids, PCOS, or structural abnormalities.

Ovulation Tracking

Through ultrasound monitoring and hormone testing to confirm regular egg release.

HSG (Hysterosalpingography)

A special X-ray test to check if the fallopian tubes are open and the uterus is normal.

Diagnostic Hysteroscopy or Laparoscopy (if needed)

Minimally invasive procedures used to directly view and treat issues inside the uterus or pelvic cavity (e.g., endometriosis, adhesions).
